Old World Chicago; The Complete “Great Fire of 1871” Collection, 200+ Unseen Photos, Reset Evidence

Howdy ya’ll! The city of Chicago; One of the most important in the Midwest, quintessential in the growth and expansion of America, and replete with history. Yet, in the year 1871, the history was, for the most part, shaken to the core, when The Great Fire of Chicago broke out in a small barn on the outskirts of the city. This fire spread rapidly, crossing the river, and touching down in the center of the city. Over 17,500 buildings were lost in a 3-day fire. Over 100,000 people were evacuated, and over 250 million dollars in damages occurred (or nearly 5 billion dollars today). Chicago, in 1871, had only been a developed city for a little over 3 decades, and yet, if the photographs presented today are to be believed, it was one of the most advanced and fastest growing cities in America.
