Lalan is a pioneering 20th century Chinese female artist who championed the art form known as integrated arts, masterfully infusing dance, music and painting into her oeuvres. Extended Figure: The Art and Inspiration of Lalan is the first major retrospective of Lalan, held to commemorate her centennial in 2021. It features over 30 masterpieces and archival materials, 30% of which are on public display at an arts and cultural institution for the first time.
