Little River Band - Witchery - 1977 - Countdown Australia - Remastered

Last one for the year, from a Countdown Australia appearance in 1977, audio replaced with a flac lossless track which gives it a much, much nicer sound. Originally written by guitarist Beeb Birtles as a 60 second commercial jingle for Witchery clothing stores, it was revamped by Birtles and fellow member Graeham Goble and included as a single from their 1977 “Diamantina Cocktail“ album. It charted at #33 in Australia, I am unsure if it was released as a single overseas due to the “album idiocy“ that record companies engaged was on the album “After Hours“ that was released in 1980 which was a mash up of 2 albums, with the Aus version of “After Hours“ released in 1976 !. #littleriverband #witchery #diamantinacocktail
