Loon call

PLEASE READ BEFORE COMMENTING. I found him “crash landed“ in the parking lot at work. Something must have scared him out of the water and since it was night he must have thought our lot was water and attempted to land. I called for a wildlife marshal however there wasn’t one on duty since it was after midnight and the police said to just leave it outside.I didn’t want to just leave leave him paying in the parking lot so I did some research and apparently loons cannot walk very well (if at all), he did attempt to move his legs to get away but couldn’t stand up to move. He tried flying away but didn’t get far and “crashed“ back in the lot. His foot was bleeding a bit from scraping on the asphalt but it stopped on its own. I released him in a nearby creek and he happily floated away, the creek he was released in was adequate for him to survive in and take off in flight when he wanted. This bird was not tortured in anyway and I took the opportunity to film him while I waited fo
