StuG III Ausf.A & III Ausf.J at AusArmourFest 2022. German SPG & Tank.

Australian Armour and Artillery Museum outside of Cairns, QLD, Australia hosted AusArmourFest once again, giving visitors an opportunity to see armour in operation on their track. The festival ran from 26-28 August 2022. This footage was shot on Saturday 27-Aug-2022 and is the StuG III Ausf.A and III Ausf.J from the museum’s collection. Great opportunity to compare different versions of the Panzer III chassis, and the StuK 37 L/24 of the StuG for Infantry fire support and the KwK 38 L/42 of the Panzer III designed for Anti-armour use. The StuG III Aust.A was built on the chassis of the Panzer III Ausf.F & Ausf.G variants. These vehicles were designated Sonderkraftfahrzeug () 142 & 141 respectively.
