Klaus Plasa Flies the Fieseler Storch at the Hangar 10 Fly In 2019 with mechanic Horsti on the backseat.
This aircraft has some unique STOL flying capabilities. In strong winds it can actually fly backwards. It was used as reconnaissance and ambulance aircraft and also used and build by other nations with different engines. The french version (Morane-Saulnier MS-500) had a Jacobs R-755-A2 radial engine.
Minimum speed is around 45 km/h!
The orignial aircraft is powered by an air cooled Argus AS10C Inverted V8 engine with around 240 hp. Unfortunately the engine didn`t run smooth enough for a longer flight, so they just did a short hop.
To compensate that, I made an in depth walkaround. Hope you Enjoy!
