KILL EVERYBODY - animash

Ugh, this video is so bad it’s embarrassing. Especially given how much time I’ve put into it, it’s been my sole project since mid-January and all I have is this to show for it. :P But at least it’s done! Jeez, I was so ready to have it completed I didn’t even have Cammy beta it after I finished (thank for critiquing the first minute though lovely ♥). Idk, I like it a bit more after I rendered it, but I still wish I had more to show for months of work, you know? Plus my main goal was to not make this cheesy at all and I miserably failed at . But all that aside, this is my entry for the second round of ohmygodimonfire91’s back to school contest! The theme was dubstep, and since I know nothing about the genre I just went with a Skrillex song. The first half is the original song and the second half is the Bare Noize remix. I liked both but they’re also incredibly repetitive so I simply mixed the two. This was also my second go at After Effects. The first 20 seconds I attempted rotobrushing which was actually very effective, it took a few hours but masking the same amount would have taken days. I also used it for the glitch effect later on! All in all, I guess this was just a ton of experimentation.
