The parasitic wasp, Gasteruption sp., attempts to oviposit in nest of the bee, Hylaeus communis

Hylaeus bees produce a cellophane-like substance with which the construct their nests. They create an empty entrance vestibule cell that may protect against parasitism. This video also suggests that the concave structure of the nest sealant maay also prevent parasites from drilling into the nest.
