The fall of the Soviet Union in 1991 came at a time when the Russian rock band Gorky Park had set up residence in the US. The weeks following two members of the band - Alexey Belov and Alexander “Big Sasha“ Minkov - made two appearances on 105.5 KNAC-FM’s “Pure Rock Talkback“ with Mike Stark.
