Burning Man 2011 Temple of Transition - Gamelan Bells, gongs and cymbals

The Temple of Transition at Burning Man 2011, which was outfitted with an installation of Gamelan bells, gongs and cymbals. These instruments were electro-mechanically operated and created an ever changing soundscape for participants to experience and meditate to. The Gamelatron is the fruit of a collaboration between The Composer and multi-media artist Zemi17: Aaron “Taylor“ Kuffner with The League of Electronic Musical Urban Robots (LEMUR).
