New 5.0 magnitude earthquake hits near west coast of Japan’s Honshu

Citing Japan’s Meteorological Agency, the Korea Meteorological Administration said that a magnitude 5-point-zero earthquake was reported at 5:16 PM Thursday near the west coast of Honshu, Japan’s main island. The KMA explained that there is no impact on South Korea.
