No words to describe this “rare GEM“ of footage from film maker - Paul Ryan, who now lives in Boise Idaho. Paul was a self professed B/A level beach player in the early ’70’s, and attended UC-Irvine, and lived in Corona Del Mar. He and a friend had access to a Video camera from UC-Irvine, and shot footage up and down the coast of California in ’73, and captured some amazing stuff, including every tournament, men’s and women’s opens, mixed opens, and the Manhattan 6 - Man. It is high quality footage shot at 400 frames per second, and captures the time period of ’73 as it should be....
