ALICE THE PEACEMAKER is a black-and-white silent short film created and directed by Walt Disney. It features live action segments paired with animated sequences. It was released on August 1, 1924 .
Alice tries to make two rival newsboys friends by telling them a story of a cat and a mouse whose constant battlings lead to being hunted by the police, when they learned to cooperate.
It stars Virginia Davis as Alice, and Tommy Hicks and Leon Holmes .
