Miro’s Paintings by Julia Finkelstein

Stefan Wester plays the suite Miro’s Paintings by Julia Finkelstein, written for the Russian 7-string guitar. Each movement is inspired by a painting by spanish artist Joan Miró. Stefan gave the premiere performance of the piece in Iowa City, IA, USA May 1 2014. The guitar is made by italian luthier Renato Barone.
