Airbus A320 first flight with Sharklets

This is the first flight for an Airbus A320 fitted with the new Sharklets feature on the wing tips. This flight will be the first of many for Airbus and this A320 as they test the aerodynamic effect and behaviour of the aircraft, engines, fuel burn and Sharklets. The A320 was in the air for almost five hours after it departed the Airbus headquarters in Toulouse.
