Similarities Between Turkish and Kurdish

Despite belonging to different language families, Turkish and Kurdish, have a lot of similar words, in addition to the many loanwords that they have in common. We showcase some of the commonalities between the Kurdish and Turkish languages, as Şimal, a Turkish speaker and Keyhan, a Sorani Kurdish speaker will showcase some of the commonalities between the two languages in a friendly manner.
