Famine (US) - S/T (Album 2008)

The second release by Famine, following up the excellent split with Bakbakwalanooksiwae, both which have been compiled later in the “Famine Times“ CD. Some of my absolute favorite American Raw Black Metal from the 00’s. Stellar primitive rottenness, that maintains an excellent songwriting and unique sound. The guitars are downtuned and evil sounding, with a stygian atmosphere of human anhililation and misery, the snare drum sound is almost along the lines of grindcore, not unlike Ärid, with an outrageous drum performance as well. Released on cassette by the deceased Splatterfuck Tapes.
