Snail Kite / Gavião-caramujeiro / Общественный коршун-слизнеед / Rostrhamus sociabilis

The snail kite is the only raptor that only eats snails. Specifically, the apple snail. They are found in Florida although very uncommon. This video shows how the kite uses it’s very sharp curved beak to kill then extract the snail from its shell.
