Happy Rhodes live - “Space Oddity“ (David Bowie cover, color version)

THIS WHOLE CONCERT IS ON YOUTUBE NOW at Happy covers David Bowie’s “Space Oddity“ at the Tin Angel in Philadelphia, PA on October 12, 1996, the 2nd show of the evening. k8fan’s B&W version of this was taken from a VHS tape that had lots of dropouts and he had to process the hell out of it. It makes for a really cool, surreal take on the song, but here is the original, in its original color, taken from the original Hi8 tape. You can see that the spotlight right above her head washed out her face, but there are no VHS dropouts or artifacts. With Kevin Bartlett on electric guitar, Carl Adami on bass, and Kelly Bird on backing vocals.
