Le Canal en Octobre

This is a popular tune in French sessions in the UK, and was written by Frédéric Paris. I’ve arranged it here for mandolin, tenor guitar and 6-string guitar, with a little counter-melody for the tenor in the middle of the tune. The mandolin and tenor guitar are a matched pair of instruments made for me by my old friend, fellow band-member and accomplished musician and luthier Ian Chisholm. His website is here:
