How Zionism Weaponizes Jewish Trauma Against Palestinians (with Naomi Klein)

Israel is founded in trauma. As Naomi Klein breaks down in this interview “it is both a replica of settler colonialism and also a new iteration of it because its been passed as reparations for genocide.” Understanding this complexity is the only way to try and process the situation we find ourselves in in Gaza. In her new book Doppelganger: A Trip Into The Mirror World, Klein discusses one of the biggest doppelgangers in world politics: Israel, and discusses these contradictions. We sat down with Klein to talk more about what has occurred since Oct 7th as well as the emergence of Zionism and Israel’s current government.
