A Wendy’s Frosty cup and a Mini Verse toy packaging were used to create this custom-built robot with a teal and orange paint job, inspired by Star Wars D-0.
I was enjoying a mini Frosty from Wendy’s when I looked down and saw a robot plain as day. I knew this treash was destined to be a treasure. I took inspiration for the bot from D-0 in Star Wars.
I wanted to keep this bot a little cleaner in the design as though he was a household bot and not so much a battle bot. For the body/wheel I used discarded packaging from a Mini Verse toy. The overall finished custom build with a teal and orange paint job, with a light touch of weathering turned out pretty cool.
