Satpura leopard gecko in wild. World’s first ever proper video of Eublepharis satpuraensis in wild.

This large endemic gecko is patchily distributed throughout Central India. (M.P; C.G; M.H). Usually found around rocky outcrops and caves. It is characterised by prominent black and yellow marking and a large fat tail. They are rarely seen because of their shy nocturnal ways and habit of hiding in cervices of rock faces. I made this video in my hometown, Sarni, dist. Betul, M.P. India. My hometown is surrounded by satpura mountains and jungles. Happy World Environment Day, 5th june 2020.
