Excellent 1987 debut album from UK industrial band SLAB!. Dissonant and grinding but still quite catchy, reminiscent of Swans and with plenty to love for fans of early Godflesh and related acts. This audio is sourced from the 1999 Release Entertainment CD, which includes the two tracks from the “People Pie“ 12“ from 1988 as a bonus.
Many years after their last release, SLAB! returned in 2012 with a new EP. I’m not sure what they’re up to today, but you can check out their official site here which has lots of great history and lyrics for this album:
