The COMPELLING Execution Of Ans van Dijk - The Hunter Of Amsterdam

During the Second World War, the German Army stormed into different countries with their huge tanks and weapons and devastated defending armies. In 1940, the Netherlands was invaded by the Germans and this surprised many as the country was neutral at the time, but quickly the army was defeated and the Netherlands fell into German occupation. Inside of the country, the Germans sought to enforce their brutal policies towards minorities and Jews, and thousands of Jews were rounded up inside cities such as Amsterdam and sent to concentration camps. Famously Anne Frank and the Frank family were betrayed and were sent to their deaths. One woman who owned a shop in Amsterdam was Ans van Dijk, and she was a Jewish woman. However she was captured by the SD, and was then interrogated and she agreed to hunt Jewish people for the Nazis.
