Eric Maskin, a Nobel laureate and the Albert O. Hirschman Professor of Social Science at the Institute for Advanced Study at Princeton University, delivers the sixth annual Robert Rosenthal Memorial Lecture, on the topic of how presidents should be elected. Maskin is best known for his work on the theory of mechanism design.
