Tour de Mars - The Simonsound

The new single from The Simonsound. Released 2nd November 2009. The A side ’Tour de Mars’ is a cover of Kraftwerk’s ’Tour de France’ which soundtracks an imaginary journey into deep space, beyond the Moon and onwards to the red planet. Heavy drums, Moog synthesiser and spaced out FX supply a cosmic backdrop for the interplanetary message of goodwill delivered using the Vocoder. The video footage is from Way Stations in Space.
