Our new kitten (Calcifer) finally napped long enough that I could get an uninterrupted practice log in. Some weekday evening double staff jams with a song that the Spotify algorithm presented me with that I simply had to dance with. “Burn With Me“ (by Whilk & Misky) has many delightful whips and snaps of the guitar that are just such delightful textures to tinker with double staff to - I had so much fun matching up the pieces of my T- and X-shape vocabulary (plus the odd reel) to the slow moody build of this song.
