Golden Pheasant

Flashy cape display by the Golden Pheasant at the Bloedel Conservatory. Humpreys the pheasant brings his orange and black neck cape around his face and over his beak so that only his brilliant yellow head crest and eye are showing. Golden Pheasants usually use this lateral cape display to “WoW“ females. Looks like Humpreys is practicing on an unsuspecting budgey!
