NASA and Northrop Grumman conducted a full-scale Flight Support Booster (FSB-1) static test at Northrop Grumman’s test facility in Promontory, Utah, on 2 September 2020, at 19:05 UTC (15:05 EDT). NASA’s Space Launch System (SLS) will be powered by two Solid Rocket Booster (SRB) that produce more than 75% of the rocket’s thrust during the first two minutes of ascent.
