Many modern sources claim that there is a very specific prophecy of Ragnarok, down to the date. What we have instead are a few sources that each give some conflicting pieces of a puzzle. This video examines the evidence from the text of the poem Vǫluspá (or Völuspá), as it is preserved in the Hauksbók manuscript and where that differs from the text in the Codex Regius, discussed in the previous installment in this series (see ).
