Build A Modular Articulated Tool Guide System

Though my purpose is very specific, this guide system has a plethora of uses and would make the most out of any DIY’ers handheld power tool collection. It consists of a simple table and a pair of articulated arms that can move a small power tool in a straight forward/reverse motion, and provide both vertical and lateral support while doing so. An adjustable strongback supports the arms at a desired height.
