Fluid Art - Flowers on Leaves All around the paths where I walk just now there are these little simple white flowers on dark green leaves. It would be really easy to walk past them and not even notice, but if you have a look they are the most perfect little jewels of white you’ll ever see - 5 little petals with a yellow center. Anyway, inspiration always comes from somewhere and that was it for this picture. I’ve been doing some pours on Aluminium embossing foil and the last one that I did I just used the shape to pour over, and so this time I wanted to do something transparent on top. Seemed simple enough to just emboss some leaves, resin them with transparent green and then have the white flowers floating on the top. Turned out to be a lot of work! Only you can say if the effort was worth it! Resin is colored with Mica powder for the black and alcohol inks for the greens. Paints are Arteza mettalics (Mica based) let down with Floetrol to allow them to flow. Foil is 36 gauge
