Classic Live performance of Sleeping Sun - Norway - Oslo 2003 This is one of the BEST Nightwish performances from their Century Child Tour. They sounded more power-metal before the Once Album in 2004, but this is one of their Classic Ballads that Tarja always knows how to sing in so many different and beautiful ways (She actually created several different aproaches to this song since it was firstly recorded in 1998, with an almost mezzo-soprano timbre, always very dark, then she re-recorded the song in 2005, mixing the more operatic vocals in the chorus with a more soft singing style in the verses between the chorus, and also a slower tempo. When it comes to live performances, she also sings in both ways, and even creates new different arrangements to fit the music ).
