“DEAD EDGE“ LAMP - a Decent project

Recently, an abandoned, 19th century factory here in Beacon was renovated and converted into a brewery. The building had huge weathered holes from the roof all the way to the basement and this lamp is made from the exposed edges of the old, pine subflooring around one such hole. Shaped by decades of weather, vagrancy, neglect, and decay left them with an unmistakeable beauty which most would cut away and toss in the trash. I chose to highlight the intricate pulchritude with this design instead. Patreon -
