A Day in the Life of Therapy Dog Partners Daisy and Wendy

Meet Daisy and Wendy Cambor, two of 3,200 volunteers at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. To show you what a day in the life of a therapy dog really *entails*, Daisy strapped on a GoPro to give you a glimpse of her experiences visiting patients and staff. Although Daisy has the cute face of a puppy, she’s actually fully grown. Wendy and her family rescued and adopted Daisy about a year and half ago when she was only a year old. Wendy immediately realized Daisy’s natural inclination for therapy work. She was friendly and engaging with people of all ages, sizes and dispositions. After Wendy’s mom was hospitalized, she knew right away she wanted to volunteer with Daisy at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. They’ve been visiting adult cardiac patients every Friday since January 2015.
