Syria: Thousands of refugees remain stranded on border with Turkey

Refugees on the Syrian side of the Oncupinar border crossing continued to wait in the hope of entering into Turkey as they flee war and privation following a recent escalation of violence in and around Aleppo. Volunteers from the Humanitarian Relief Foundation, a Turkish NGO, erected tents at a refugee camp near the border and began distributing humanitarian aid on Friday.
