The surprisingly fun Multiplayer of Dark Messiah; Dead Game Review

Ever wondered how many games are left for dead but theoretically fully functional and playable? Dark Messiah of Might and Magic is one of those games! It is an incredibly under appreciated title, which harbours both a great Singleplayer and a Multiplayer mode which is more fun than you might expect at first! Dark Messiah features interesting gameplay that can only be described as “chaotic and satisfying“. While the Singleplayer concerns itself with physics props flying about and kicking orcs off cliffs, resulting in hilariously loud screams reverberating out of the abyss, the Multiplayer resembles a slaughtering ground of highly skilled warriors, who are all distinctly powerful when it comes to their own professions. Unlike many other multiplayer titles, the player gets stronger with time, being able to assign skill points to a class after gaining enough skillpoints. Each class has a distinct skill tree, filled with interesting abilities and counters to other classes which are expected to be swapped depending on the situation the player may find themselves in. Dark Messiah is rather inexpensive on a sale and I highly recommend you buy the game for the Singleplayer alone. The Multiplayer is heaps of fun as well, and if you can get at least 3 more friends together for death matches, the Multiplayer is well worth playing! Have fun!
