This blanket is created from hexagonal puzzle pieces. Even a sewing beginners or quilting beginners can make this blanket. You can use leftover fabric from previous sewing projects or repurpose fabric from old clothes to make this blanket. In this video, I make a blanket that is about 110cm x 130cm (44“ x 52“). You can create a bigger blanket with more puzzle pieces. I will create a hexagon pattern first. This is not a regular hexagon. The size of this hexagon is 22cm x 22cm (8.8“ x 8.8“). Then I would put the pattern on the fabric and add about (0.6“) of seam. My quilt needs 31 hexagonal pieces, 10 vertical half hexagon pieces and 8 horizontal half hexagonal pieces.
