On the 15th of December 2018, cable transport is scheduled to be opened connecting Kobi and Gudauri. The cable will be used by skiers as well as non-skiers. Kobi is a village in Kazbegi, Mtskheta-Mtianeti, while Gudauri is a ski resort located on the south-facing plateau of the Greater Caucasus Mountain Range in Georgia.
