JENSON BUTTON’s New Hypercar DELIVERY DAY!

It’s handover day of Jenson Button’s brand new Lotus Evija! We’re with Jenson to check out his new 2,000 horsepower electric hypercar, and find out more about his spec, the plans ahead, and what the car is all about. It’s an exciting day, and what an opportunity to be part of it! Lotus have quite the stand at The Quail during Monterey Car Week 2023, with Jenson’s Evija and the new Type 66 Can-Am racecar, along with the Eletre EV. The Type 66 is the ’lost Lotus’ and is being built using the original technical drawings by Colin Chapman from 1969 of a car to compete in 1970, managed under the team lead by Clive Chapman; therefore creating the first new Chapman Lotus in many decades. However, I’m intrigued to hear more about the Lotus Evija from Jenson and obviously talk about his car in detail.
