Nuit Blanche (Sankor 16C Anamorphic)

It was Nuit Blanche in Winnipeg this past weekend, and I took my Anamorphic setup out for a spin. This footage was shot on a Sony a6300 with a Sankor 16C 2x Anamorphic Projection Lens and Nikkor 50mm f1.4 Pre-Ai Taking Lens. Being a hand-held dual-focus setup, it was a little tricky to use, but I managed to get a couple OK shots. The image is a bit soft, especially with the taking lens wide open - which in my opinion gives everything a classic cinematic feel... and those flares... those streaky blue flares
