Jaago - Lakha Khan

Jaago (wake up) is a folk song from Rajasthan, India sung by Lakha Khan - the foremost exponent of the Sindhi sarangi. As Lakhaji explains, it is sung to rouse the son-in-law from a drug-induced stupor. Traditionally, the intoxicants used would be bhang (derived from the marijuana plant) or amal (opium).
