The version on show here is the EasyFlash cartridge release, which packs in some additional screens not present from the tape version, plus removing loading times complete. The decision to remove the side-scrolling sections meant that some fans were torn as to whether they preferred Creatures or this sequel, but there’s no denying that Creatures 2 is just a stunning achievement. John and Steve Rowlands, assisted by Andy Roberts, put together a game that oozes quality.
