Beth Lord - Kant, Deleuze, and the Difference of Being and Thought

A/V# 2012 Summer Dr Beth Lord is Principal Investigator for the AHRC Spinoza Research Network. She is interested in how ontology, epistemology and metaphysics intersect with philosophies of nature, life, and production, connecting seventeenth- and eighteenth-century thought with recent European philosophy – particularly Kant, Spinoza and Deleuze. Beth is author of Spinoza’s Ethics: An Edinburgh Philosophical Guide (Edinburgh University Press, 2009)
