Charted at #51 on Cash Box Top 100 chart in May 1958. Kenny’s first solo single, then billed as Kenneth Rogers. Of course, he became a country music superstar! First released locally in 1957 on the Kix Records label, and again nationally in 1958 on the Carlton label. Kenny had recorded earlier with a group called the Scholars. Written by Ray Doggett. B-side is “We’ll Always Have Each Other“.
