Get Up It’s Christmas. Available - The story so far… After a huge career with Slade, one of the UK’s biggest ever bands, Don formed The Don Powell Band, not just to continue his passion as a live and studio drummer, but also to write and work on new numbers with a different band, guest musicians and friends. Sadly this was literally just a few weeks before Covid changed our world so live work became impossible and creativity was only possible via the internet. But… The band have been working, in what has been a very difficult for time everyone, writing and sharing ideas and establishing a new style. The first 3 x releases have all been well received and you can expect a lot more news and collaborations in the next year.
