The First Complete “Eroica“ (1924) Fried/Berlin

That distinction belongs to an abridged recording with Henry Wood. Still another early recording was with Albert Coates, both are very fast and incomplete. The present recording is the first complete recording, although Fried does not take all of the repeats. This is an acoustic recording from 1924, but it is also pretty fair sounding, especially considering the scaled down Orchestra required for the early technology involved.
