SpaceX launches rocket ahead of first lunar landing by private company
SpaceX has launched a rocket carrying a lunar lander in what will be the first moon landing by a private company.
Elon Musk’s company launched the rocket from the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida.
SpaceX has previously sent rockets up to the International Space Station and is planning on flying crewed missions to Mars in the future.
