PUERTO RICO: ABANDONED PIER SCUBA DIVE WITH TURTLES

Mosquito Pier off Vieques, Puerto Rico is a kickass site for Scuba diving or snorkeling. People usually travel here for Mosquito Bay and it’s bioluminescent water, but this particular dive site should be put on the list too. Turtles everywhere, and really unique! I was there early 2016 and loved it. If you’re looking for tours, activities, or things to do on Vieques for your holidays, there’s actually quite a lot here. The island has a lot of old abandoned military infrastructure, and you can visit some very cool rusty chunks of history just off some of the main roads. Abandoned Bunkers. Trains covered in Vines. Old factories reclaimed by nature. I had a blast on this little island, and after a week of exploring, was sad to leave. SCUBA or a Snorkel are my favourite. Diving with Black Beard Sports was great. They seem to be leading the pack on the island for underwater adventures, and I highly recommend them. If you you haven’t checked out my Bio Bay tour video I made
